Take the bus, go north of the city and visit Cartwright Hall, a civic art gallery in Bradford. The gallery has a collection of contemporary prints from around the world, as well as South Asian art and crafts. Cartwright Hall is located in the beautiful grounds of Lister Park, which has a unique Mughal Water Garden that combines Islamic and Indian architectural styles. This garden was featured on the BBC Two show Monty Don's Paradise Gardens in 2018.

A top tip is to visit the Crafty Indian on Bradford Road for a snack break. It is an Indian street kitchen that offers Indian tapas and a selection of craft beers in Shipley.
