East Riddlesden Hall is an intimate 17th century manor house with a stunning collection of embrodries, pewter and oak furniture. Visitors can wander around the house and absorb its lived-in feel. The Great Hall is an imposing introduction to the house and upstairs you can gaze across the Aire Valley through the Rose Windows that are linked to West Ridings manor houses.

Out in the award winning romantic gardens, designed by Graham Stuart Thomas, you can enjoy a variety of flora around the year, starting with a beautiful clematis in the spring. The borders grow and come alive through the summer with everything from roses to alliums and the pyramidal fruit trees. Beyond the formal garden is a wild garden, this emerges into the spring with swathes of colour and brightness from the narcissi. This is a peaceful tranquil space to spend time in a place inspired by the Victorian rebel William Robinson.

Children can be entertained at the duckpond, in the natural playground or in the brand new bird hide. When everyone needs refreshing visitors can call in to the table service tearoom that offers teas and locally sourced snacks. Get a bit of retail therapy in our shop that offers an excellent range of national and local goods and produce. Various activities and trails are available throughout the year. Please see East Riddlesden Hall's website for details.

We also host weddings and private functions in the atmospheric setting of the Airedale Barn.
