Start your morning at the newly reopened National Science and Media Museum, explore the refreshed Kodak Photography Gallery, now showcasing the Absolute Unit meme. Later, in summer, the museum will unveil its new Sound and Vision galleries, highlighting key aspects of the collection, including photography.

Stroll through Bradford City Park
Next, head to Bradford City Park, home to the UK’s largest mirror pool. It’s a beautiful spot to relax, take in the views of City Hall, and if the sun’s out, sit by the fountains for a peaceful moment. While you’re here, check out Nationhood: Memory and Hope by Aïda Muluneh (11 Jan 2025 - 26 Apr 2025), a thought-provoking exhibition at the nearby Impressions Gallery as part of Bradford 2025.

Explore Bradford’s Little Germany & The Cathedral
After lunch, take a wander through the picturesque Little Germany. Once the heart of Bradford’s textile industry, this area is now full of beautiful Victorian architecture and charming streets. Then, head over to Bradford Cathedral for a peaceful visit to this magnificent building steeped in history.

Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey (13 Mar – 6 Apr 2025) at Loading Bay Get up close with artworks from the hit BBC One series at this exhibition in Loading Bay, a new pop-up venue in Bradford. Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey features breathtaking portraits of people with incredible personal stories, creating a powerful picture of modern Britain. Admission is free, and the exhibition is presented in partnership with the BBC and Chatterbox Media.

EVENING:

Go for a Curry
When it’s time for dinner, Bradford’s reputation as the Curry Capital of Britain is not to be missed!
