About

Experience the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales in music and film.

Performing:
Beethoven: Symphony no. 6 in F, op 68 'Pastoral Symphony'
Ben Crick: Yorkshire Dales Soundscapes (with accompanying film)

Beethoven loved nature, and his pastoral symphony takes us on a perfect tour of a rural idyll complete with birds singing, steams flowing, and even a picnic disturbed by a thunderstorm!

Then Airedale Symphony Orchestra conductor Ben Crick will take us on a glorious journey through the Yorkshire Dales, with Soundscapes composed by him which combined with film of the Yorkshire Dales will create our own concert hall sized immersive experience!

We will hold a collection for Menston Area Nature Trust, a local charity supported by orchestra members that has recently purchased nearby Weston Woods as a new nature resource for our community.
