About

Diva Productions present Calendar Girls.

Based on the incredible true story of eleven lovable and brave WI members in Knapley, Yorkshire, Calendar Girls is a sensitive, emotional, beautiful and heartwarming story about life, loss, aging, true friendships, and the power of a community.

When Annie's husband John dies of leukemia, she and her long-standing best friend Chris resolve to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room. Enlisting the support of 4 of their friends and fellow WI members, these incredible women come together to pose naked for an “alternative calendar”. The news of the women's charitable venture spreads like wildfire, and hordes of press soon descend on the small village in the Yorkshire Dales, turning the women into international celebrities overnight.

Diva Productions (Grease, Ghost, Legally Blonde) are proud to present the fastest selling play in British theatre history as their debut performance for Bradford Theatres as part of Bradford City of Culture 2025.
