Altar with rich religious textiles and symbolic decorations.

About

Bradford Cathedral houses a collection of historically significant ecclesiastical textiles, including works by Morris & Co., Louisa Pesel, Ernest Sichel, and Polly Meynell. Notably, Pesel's altar frontal was worked on by shell-shocked soldiers during WWI.

Visitors can join a guided tour to view these rare textiles in their original setting and hear the stories behind them.
