Mufasa: The Lion King

About

'The wait is over – Bradford’s IMAX will reopen on 20 December. Pictureville Cinema’s largest cinema screen roars back to life with Disney’s suitably epic prequel Mufasa: The Lion King. Get whisked away to the African Savanna with IMAX 2D screenings of this incredible adventure, the perfect big-screen experience for the whole family over the festive period.

Simba, having become king of the Pride Lands, is determined for his cub to follow in his paw prints, while exploring his late father Mufasa’s origins.

Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny. Their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe.
