About

Fronted by a three-piece all-female horn section led by trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey, KOKOROKO take a whole melting pot of influences and brew them into a sound entirely their own – reflective one minute, electrifying the next.

Fresh from a sell-out UK tour, they’re coming to Bradford for the first time as part of Bradford 2025 – a fittingly thrilling end to our weekend-long celebration of the best in British brass. As KOKOROKO themselves put it: ‘Come as you are – and share joy’.
