Bradford 2025's touring venue, The Beacon, will visit parks across the district with headline acts, shows, festivals, clubs, classes, family activities, and neighbourhood gatherings.

Highlights at Bowling Park:​​​

• 22 May | 18:30: An Evening with Resi/Dance (Tickets Required) Dance United presents.

• 25 May | 11:00 & 14:00: Robyn Hood (Tickets Required)  Fidget Theatre reinvents the classic folk tale for family audiences.

• 26 & 28 May | 10:00 - 14:30: Let’s Make – Bowling Park (Just drop in) Get creative with artist Lou Sumray.

• 26 - 7 June | Various Times: Play Bradford’s Mobile Adventure Playground (Just drop in)

• 27-28 May | 19:30: Happy Hype (Tickets Required) Collectif OUINCH OUINCH x Mulah bring carnival culture from Geneva. Ages:16+

• 29-31 May | Various Times: Sisters 360 (Tickets Required) Turtle Key Arts presents two Muslim stepsisters trying to skate to victory in a new family show. Ages: 8-12.

• 5-6 June | 19:30: Greed (Tickets Required) Tavaziva Dance reimagines the Seven Deadly Sins for the 21st century. Ages: 13+.

• 7 June | 19:30: The Tiger Lillies (Tickets Required)  Oddball cabaret, dark humour, and catchy tunes from London’s legendary masters of the macabre. Ages: 18+

• 10 June | 19:00: Sustenance: The Power of Food (Tickets Required) Edible Archives hosts a shared meal and discussion on the importance of food in our communities. 

• 14 June | 11:00-15:00: Statuesque (Drop In) A new walkabout act bringing to life the statues from the parks of Bradford.

• 14 June | Share Your Story: On Board at The Beacon (Just drop in) The Bradford Stories Bus is coming to The Beacon for a one-day story spectacular. Aimed at ages 5-11

• 14 June | 10:30: Family Pride Party (Tickets Required) Celebrate creativity, individuality, and self-expression with our family-friendly Pride celebration. 

• 14 June | 20:00: Big Quiffy Bingo (Tickets Required) Boogaloo Stu brings a bingo night like no other to The Beacon. Ages: 18+

• 18 June | 10:30: Museums for Play and Growth (Free Ticket Required) A free stay-and-play session for under-5s and their grown-ups in Bowling Park and Bolling Hall Museum.

• 19 June | 19:30: Back to Black (Tickets Required) Leeds’s leading jazz and soul masters perform Amy Winehouse’s iconic album live at The Beacon.

• 20-21 June | Various Times: Penguin (Tickets Required) Hamzeh Al Hussien & Amy Golding present one man’s extraordinary journey from Syria to England. Ages: 12+

• 21 June | 11:00-14:00: Peace Picnic: Bowling (Just drop in) The Peace Museum hosts the first of five free gatherings to celebrate peace, protest, and community.
