About
Join The Bradford Police Museum for our unique Trial by Jury!
The Green Dress is a gripping immersive courtroom drama set in Bradford in 1956, where gossip travels fast and reputations are everything. When a woman is found stabbed to death in her bedroom, all eyes turn to her husband. As the trial unfolds, secrets, jealousies, and lies come to light—but was it truly murder, or a tragic accident tangled in guilt and misunderstanding?
Join us for an immersive courtroom reenactment where you become part of the story. Step into the shoes of a Jury Member in a real courtroom, hear testimonies from witnesses, and weigh the evidence to decide for yourself who committed the crime. Rather than be part of the jury, you could also come along to the event as a Court Spectator, where you can witness the entire drama unfold from the sidelines as the trial reaches its gripping conclusion. However, that doesn't mean you won't be part of the action! Thanks to new technology, you’ll be able to cast your verdict on the fate of the prisoner on trial.
Will justice be served? Only you can decide. Don’t miss this unforgettable historical experience!
Audience discretion is advised. While there are no formal age restrictions, we recommend that Court Spectators be aged 12 and above, and Jury Members aged 16 and above. This is due to the inclusion of mature themes, including descriptions of sexual content and strong language.
Please Note: Please arrive by 13:45, to allow time to be seated before the event begins. The event will begin promptly at 14:00 and admittance after this time will not be possible.
