WalkDescription
A circular route from Bradford Cathedral to Peel Park.
Walk Waypoints
- 1 Begin the Walk in the grounds of Bradford Cathedral.
- 2 Head through the gates at the back of the Cathedral and turn Left up Stott Hill.
- 3 Continue up Stott Hill and take the right turn onto Captain Street.
- 4 Follow the road until in joins Bolton road and continue on to the right.
- 5 Once you reach the junction with the A650 cross the road and continue up the hill along Bolton Road.
- 6 Take the pedestrian route to your right up the wooded bank and then turn left onto Wapping Road.
- 7 Follow the road for some distance until you reach the junction with Cranmer Road on your right.
- 8 Continue on to reach the junction with Cliffe Road and turn right.
- 9 You will see the entrance to Peel park on your left.
- 10 Follow the path through the park taking the first left and then turning right once you reach the long straight.
- 11 Continue along the path until you exit the park onto Harrogate street and turn right.
- 12 Follow Harrogate road untl you cross over the A658 and enter Undercliffe Cemetery.
- 13 Take the winding path through the cemetery bearing forwards until you exit onto Undercliffe Lane.
- 14 Turn right and follow the road until you see a left turn just past the school grounds.
- 15 Follow the mostly straight path until you enter Beech Grove Park.
- 16 Follow the path around the edge of the park and then bear right once you pass the houses.
- 17 Continue along the road until you reach the junction with Byron Street and turn left.
- 18 Follow Byron Street until you reach the junction with Barkerend road and turn right.
- 19 Continue along Barkerend Road and go straight across the roundabout.
- 20 Keep going until you cross the A650 onto Church Bank.
- 21 Turn right onto Stott Hill just behind the Cathedral to complete the route.
