We are seeking to recruit a team of Volunteer Ambassadors
Responsibilities
- To provide an excellent first impression and a customer focused welcome to visitors to the Bradford district
- To provide information on the local area, examples include, providing directions, attraction and event information and information on local services, such as accommodation, shops and cafes
- To keep information displays well stocked and up to date
Training
You will receive an induction specific to the role including full health and safety. All short-listed applicants will be required to attend a short, informal interview.

- Enthusiastic and positive about the Bradford district and would like to share your passion with visitors
- Enjoy coming into contact with and communicating with members of the public
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Are keen to learn
- can follow instructions and safety procedures
- work well with others in a team
- are reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- are willing to abide by the Council's code of conduct for volunteers and staff
- are resident in the UK or in possession of a suitable visa for study or work
- are aged 18+
