Tong Park Dam Walk

Walk Waypoints

1. 1 Begin the walk by the bank of the canal in Saltaire.
2. 2 Cross the bridge across the river into Roberts Park.
3. 3 Follow the path to the right until you join Coach Road then turn left.
4. 4 Turn right onto Thompson Lane.
5. 5 Follow the road for some distance and then take the footpath across the green.
6. 6 Cross the road and head onto Baildon Bank.
7. 7 Follow the footpaths staying near the road until you emerge behind the houses of Wrose View.
8. 8 Turn left onto Bank Walk and follow it to the junction and turn right onto Westgate.
9. 9 Once you reach the roundabout take a right turn onto Hallcliffe.
10. 10 Continue on across the next roundabout and onto Ladderbanks.
11. 11 Leave the road and follow the footpaths into and through the park.
12. 12 Follow the footpaths until you join Lonk House Lane.
13. 13 Take a right turn onto Hollin Head.
14. 14 Turn left onto Langley Lane.
15. 15 Follow it round and then take a left turn onto Roundwood Road.
16. 16 Continue to follow the road and join the footpath heading towards the river.
17. 17 Cross over using the bridge.
18. 18 Follow the footpath until you reach the canal towpath then turn right and follow the canal until you return to the starting point in Saltaire.
