About
Bracken Hall Countryside Centre, located on the edge of Baildon Moor, close to Shipley Glen, was established in 1981. Visitors are encouraged to investigate, explore and relate to the local natural history, archaeology, and social history through displays, themed activities and a wildlife garden, and engage and interpret the countryside via a year-round, seasonal programme of guided and self-guided walks, workshops, events and sessions with specialists. The Centre also facilitates highly regarded educational visits for all age groups, and hosts a number of local community groups.
