Step back in time to explore the history of LGBTQ+ life in Bradford – starting with a fun day in Peel Park for people of all ages.

Pink in the Park is a chance to celebrate the weird, wonderful and too-often-hidden histories of Bradford’s LGBTQ+ community. Our big day out in Peel Park is inspired by Bradford in the Pink, the short-lived but much-loved gay festival that took place exactly 40 years ago – as well as other landmark events and grassroots gatherings created by the district’s LGBTQ+ community down the years.

Everyone’s welcome in Peel Park for performances, poster making, new artists’ commissions, open-access football matches and other activities for people of all ages.

Back in the Pink continues in October – more information coming soon.

Please note: alcohol is not permitted in Peel Park.
