Cherry trees

About

Beautiful volunteer led Cherry Blossom Festival comes to Bradford’s Bolling Hall Museum.

The volunteer Bolling Hall Gardeners will be on hand to help you plant your summer bulb in a pot that you’ve decorated to take home.

Make your handcrafted tissue blossom and join in a flower themed children’s story-time in the library. We hear that a special visit by Bookstart Bear will be made as he wakes up for Spring… Make sure you take a book out of the library!

Frances Tempest, Lady of the House, will take you on a tour of her home, the museum! (Mrs Tempest is played by visiteer, Sheila Lansdell).

Blossom-themed face paint by Fairies Wardrobe will be on hand. Make sure you have your photo taken with the Blossom Flower Fairy. If the weather allows, join in the fairy dance!

All finished off with Cup of Kin. This is your West Bowling trailer in the gardens where you can grab a delicious cup of coffee and delightful homemade cake. Partnered with local businesses to ensure highest quality of ingredients.

The event is suitable for all the family, children must be accompanied by an adult.

The event is free, but donations on a pay as you feel basis are always welcome to cover the costs of volunteer activities.
