About

Join Bradford 2025 for a fascinating 2hr walking tour through the centre of Bradford, UK City of Culture 2025.

The tour will explore Bradford’s history, origins, and its transformation into the city it is today. Once one of Europe’s wealthiest cities, its Victorian architecture stands as a legacy. Known for technological innovation in both the textile industry and the film industry, Bradford earned the title of Wool Capital of the World and became the World’s first UNESCO City of Film.

The city has a strong record of supporting humanitarian causes and inspiring social reformers. Built on trade and migration, this city couldn’t be more Yorkshire. Let us peel back the layers and invite you to discover this fascinating city during its year of celebration.

Please arrive at the meeting point outside the Bradford 2025 Ticketing Hub on Centenary Square 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, eg. 2.20pm for 2.30pm start. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day.
