About

In 2025, several walking groups will offer a series of 16 circular walks based on the Bradford Millennium Way, launched 25 years ago, as part of the Bradford 2025 programme.

The Midweek Wayfarers will lead a moderately difficult 7-mile circular walk starting at Cullingworth War Memorial. The route will take walkers through Goit Stock Wood, past a beautiful waterfall, and along the valley to Hewenden Reservoir. From there, the walk will continue towards Denholme Village, before climbing Denholme Edge for panoramic views and descending back through open countryside to Cullingworth.

Difficulty: Moderately difficult, with muddy paths and some areas requiring extra care.
Clothing: Appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear are essential.
Food: Bring a packed lunch and drink; a hot drink is recommended. Cafes and a pub are available in Cullingworth after the walk.​​​
