Poster of information about Millennium Way walks.

About

In 2025, several walking groups will offer a series of 16 circular walks based on the Bradford Millennium Way, launched 25 years ago, as part of the Bradford 2025 programme.

Distance: 7 miles

Brief Description: This walk offers stunning views of Airedale from Denholme Edge and later the Worth Valley near Thornton Moor Reservoir. If time allows, the group will visit the Brontë Stone (Emily Stone) at Ogden Kirk before returning to Denholme to finish the walk.

Difficulty: Moderate difficulty – a two-boot walk according to Countryside Team grading.

What to Bring: Sturdy boots are essential as some paths may be muddy and wet. Participants should also bring a packed lunch.

Public Transport: For those using public transport, Transdev Bus No. 67 departs from Bradford Interchange at 10:30 (departure point details will be confirmed closer to the date) and arrives at Denholme (Main Road/Station Road stop) at 11:06.
