Gaelforce are a superb Celtic Folk Rock band from Yorkshire playing rocked up traditional folk songs, self-penned tunes in the trad style & jigs n reels.

Chris Dyson – fiddle, vocal – ex Mike Hardings Band, Roisin Ban.

Geoff Taylor – electric guitars – ex Duncan McFarlane Band

Sammy Dowgill – bass, vocal

Jim Brierley – drums, vocal

Ed Arnold – highland bagpipes

In 2023, Gaelforce won, by public vote, on the Introducing Stage at the Great British Folk Festival at Butlins in Skegness. Since then, they have been selling out ticketed gigs in Yorkshire and beyond, creating interest wherever they play.

The band have recorded and released the album ‘Equinox ‘, which is available on most digital platforms including Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and gigs. Their next album is imminent.
