This year’s Weekend Makers Markets are set to be our most exciting to date, bringing together the finest artists, designers, makers, and crafters from Yorkshire near and far. With a curated selection of one-of-a-kind handmade goods, stunning art, and innovative designs, there's something for everyone - this is the place to be if you are hunting for that unique custom item. Each stall will showcase the passion and creativity of talented artisans, giving you the chance to discover pieces that you won’t find anywhere else. Join us for a weekend of inspiration, shopping, and supporting local makers who are redefining craftsmanship in their communities. Kick start your Spring with gift ideas you won’t find anywhere else. We are located in Haworth Village at the Old School Rooms where all the Brontës taught and where Charlotte Brontë was married; situated opposite the Brontë Parsonage Museum, where the trailblazing family lived and penned their literary classics.

Meet the Makers - 

CAROL SPENCER ART - Pet Portraits, Equine and Wildlife Illustration - draws pictures of all sorts of animals from pets to wildlife... the traditional way, with pencils!  “This creative journey started in lockdown 2020 when I drew 'my Bella' for fun (and to keep sane from home-schooling!) I posted the picture on social media. Amazingly, I received many requests from friends/ family to draw their pets! The drawing of Bella now sits proud on a wall in my home, and as the emblem for Carol Spencer Art” - Carol is an active member of The Association of Animal Artists, a brilliant group of likeminded animal artists who hold exhibitions throughout the year, alongside raising money for animal causes.  www.carolspencerart.co.uk.
