Explore the magic of sound through exciting activities and musical performances for all ages.

For British Science Week 2025, we’re celebrating the science of sound. Discover DIY electronic instruments, grow your own poems and experiment with different types of noise throughout the museum.

As well as drop-in activities, this family day includes musical performances from Yorkshire Sound Women Network and students from Leeds Beckett University. 

There will also be short performances by artists from our Time Loops exhibition.
