About
Join the Celebration of Anne Brontë! A Brontë Birthplace organised event.
On Saturday, 18th January, just one day after Anne Brontë’s birthday, come and celebrate the life and legacy of the often-overlooked Brontë sister at St James’ Church, Thornton. The Three Ann(e)s will feature a special performance at 14:00, with pianist Ann Airton and Brontë expert Anne Powell bringing Anne’s courageous spirit to life through readings and music she would have known and loved.
Doors open at 13:30 for a display of Brontë artefacts, offering a unique glimpse into the family’s literary history.
After the performance, enjoy refreshments and a raffle draw at 15:30.
