A woman singing

About

Well known blues and country rock classics.

The Violet Hours are a new blues-infused Americana band featuring Helen May on vocals/guitar and Chris Preston on guitar.

The Violet Hours were formed in 2023 with the intention of providing a new take on well known blues and country rock classics as well as being a vehicle for the band's original Americana infused music.

Appearances at the Colne Blues Festival and the Orkney Blues Festival received great reviews and we are delighted to welcome this new, talented local band to the mill.
