About
Join The Bradford Police Museum for our unique Trial by Jury!
Will justice be served? Only you can decide. Don’t miss this unforgettable historical experience!
The Final Step is an immersive period courtroom drama set in Bradford in 1888, and based on a real case that shocked Victorian society. When a woman is found dead in her home in a state of undress, the clues point towards it being her husband - but who else could be to blame? As the courtroom fills with whispers and accusations, the search for justice becomes a gripping battle of truth and appearances.
Join us for an immersive reenactment where you become part of the story. Step into the shoes of a jury member in a real Victorian courtroom, hear testimonies from witnesses, and weigh the evidence to decide for yourself the fate of the accused charged with murder.
Rather than be part of the jury, you could also come along to the event as a court spectator, where you can witness the entire drama unfold from the sidelines as the trial reaches its gripping conclusion. However, that doesn't mean you won't be part of the action! Thanks to new technology, you’ll be able to cast your verdict on the fate of the prisoner on trial.
Audience discretion is advised. While there are no formal age restrictions, we recommend that Court Spectators be aged 12 and above, and Jury Members aged 16 and above. This is due to the inclusion of mature themes, including descriptions of sexual content and strong language.
Please Note: Please arrive by 1:45pm, to allow time to be seated before the event begins. The event will begin promptly at 2pm and admittance after this time will not be possible.
