This year the National Trust property, near Keighley will be holding their first summer festival. On Sunday 5 May, you can discover local artisans as they showcase and sell their wares in the stunning 17th century Airedale Barn.
The whole site will be full of activities and a range of food vendors, from handmade pizza and ice cream. Or take a seat on a haybale and cool down with a cold beer and hopefully enjoy some early summer sunshine.
On the lower fields, younger visitors can enjoy the inflatable course for £2 a go, try out planting a seed with the Gardeners or go river dipping with the Rangers.
Welcome Manager, Hester Pode said “This is the first year we have put on a summer festival and hope that this is the beginning of a new yearly tradition for us.
The Airedale Barn will be full of local suppliers with handmade crafts, and outside visitors can find a great selection of food and drink vendors. The lower fields will be full of activities for families to enjoy.”
Access to the Summer Fête and lower fields is free, normal admission prices apply for entry to the Hall and gardens, free entry for National Trust members and under-fives.
Every visit to East Riddlesden Hall helps us look after this special place, from taking care of our collections to looking after nature in the gardens.
