This Summer audiences can enjoy two outdoor theatres in the grounds of East Riddlesden Hall, on the outskirts of Keighley. Bring along your picnics, chairs and possibly an umbrella and enjoy an evening of entertainment, set against the backdrop of the stunning 17th century manor.
The first play, on the 20 June, is the classic fairy-tale Beauty and the Beast. Performed by Chapterhouse, this brand-new telling of a classic is presented with original music. With a sprinkling of humour, this open-air adaption is the perfect summer afternoon family entertainment.
Or why not join The Lord Chamberlain's Men on 14 August as they perform Hamlet. With a history stretching back to William Shakespeare himself they present this great play as he first saw it, in the open air, with an all-male cast and Elizabethan costumes, music and dance.
