Tripadvisor has unveiled it’s 2024 Travellers' Choice Awards and amongst the winners you’ll find plenty of great attractions in the Bradford District. The award honours businesses that consistently earn great reviews from real tourists and visitor, placing them among the top 10% of listings worldwide on Tripadvisor. Alhambra Theatre, Bradford

Bradford Industrial Museum

Bradford Police Museum

Brontë Parsonage Museum, Haworth

The former home of the famous Brontë sisters is now a museum in the heart of picturesque Haworth. Filled with some of the family’s possessions, manuscripts and exhibitions inspired by their works. No visit to Brontë Country is complete without exploring this wonderful museum.

NT East Riddlesden Hall, Keighley

Explore the stunning house and grounds of East Riddlesden Hall, a National Trust property in Keighley. A favourite destination for families thanks to its large gardens which are full of fun things to discover, the Hall also contains a fantastic collection of artworks as well as an iconic National Trust café filled with goodies.

Five Rise Locks, Bingley

As you explore the Leeds-Liverpool canal, you can’t miss the imposing Five Rise Locks which raises and lowers barges over a large hill. A fabulous feat of engineering, the locks offer Insta-worthy photo opportunities at both top and bottom and there’s even a café to serve you a nice cup of tea or an ice-cream to enjoy on your walk.

Keighley and Worth Valley Railway

Explore Brontë country by rail on one of the gleaming carriages of the Keighly and Worth Valley Railway. The KWVR runs beautiful heritage steam and diesel engines between Keighley and Oxenhope and has featured in many iconic films including the Railway Children.

Salts Mill, Saltaire

Once the beating heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire, Salts Mill is now one of the village’s must-visit locations. Featuring wonderful unique shops, a restaurant and an art gallery featuring many of the works of David Hockney, the mill is also now home to the Bradford Peace Museum.
