Autumn is well under way, so beat the cold with a laugh and enjoy evenings of comedy at The Studio, Bradford with comedy legends, a homage to an iconic artist and rising stars.

Desi Central returns to The Studio, Bradford on Saturday 5 October with another hilarious line up including Britain’s Got Talent finalist Nabil Abdulrashid who is making his third trip to The Studio.

Cork man Chris Kent is Back At It, returning to comedy with a brand new show that he’s bringing to The Studio, Bradford on Wednesday 9 October.

After having to go back to his day job as an electrician, Chris Kent found himself with two jobs and the ridiculous notion of trying to buy a house. It turns out he did not have enough jobs. Something had to give and he’s sure there’s no future in electricity anyway.

Recently described by Chortle as a mix between Jack Dee and Frank Skinner wrapped in a Mod’s fashion sense, Matt Bragg is bringing his debut show to The Studio, Bradford on Friday 11 October.

Matt has spent 7 years on the comedy circuit, which has taken him all over Europe, from basements to theatres and arenas supoprting the likes of John Bishop, Suzi Ruffell, Jason Manford and Ricky Garvais who has described Matt’s stand up as “classic observational comedy, delivered with effortless style” (Ricky Gervais). Howl with the Hounds of Love and dance on the moors with Withering Heights! An Evening Without Kate Bush is returning to The Studio, Bradford on Saturday 12 October.

Sarah-Louise Young and co-creator Russell Lucas pay glorious homage to the music, fans and mythology of one of the most influential voices in British music. Whether you’ve been a fan of Kate Bush for decades or recently joined the shoal via the ’Stranger Things’ phenomenon, there has never been a better time to celebrate this joyful, unique and mind-blowing show. Returning favourite Tom Stade is bringing his new show Risky Business to The Studio, Bradford on Wednesday 16 October.

Without risk there is no reward. Join this independant spirit and irrepressible force of nature, as he airdrops his ingenious and unflinching comedy into an ever-changing minefield. Award-winning comedian Alfie Brown is back with his first show since the fabric of his reality disintegrated. He’s bringing Open Hearted Human Enquiry to The Studio Bradford on Thursday 17 October.

Alfie is trying to seperate his failures from his misfortunes and arrives at the conclusion that ‘life is beautful’. Captivating and submersive stand-up from one of the very best in the country. Age guidance: 18+

Described as ‘the funniest dad on Instagram’, stand-up comedian George Lewis has racked up millions of views for his hilarious online sketches about the big things in life like owning an air fryer, watching a David Beckham documentary, and the excruciating experience of trying to do a jigsaw with your kid.

Now he’s bringing his brand new stand up show, The Best Thing You’ll Ever Do to The Studio, Bradford on Saturday 26 October. Activate the parents’ Whatsapp group, dump the kids with whoever is willing to have them, and join George for a brilliant night out. Age guidance: 16+

Comedy legend, actor, writer and more importantly for this show, a great poet, Nigel Planer is joining Henry Normal, BBC Radio 4’s ‘poet in reticence’ at The Studio, Bradford on Tuesday 29 October.

This reuinted team will entertain, educates and informs (but mostly entertains it must be said). Expect poetry, stories, jokes, Q&As, fun, knitwear and a few surprises.
