Morning: National Science and Media Museum: Start your day with a visit to this museum in Bradford, a UNESCO Creative City of Film, to explore its fascinating exhibits on film and media. If you have time, enjoy a unique screening at the IMAX or Pictureville Cinema.

City Park and Little Germany:  Take a short walk to City Park to see the Mirror Pool, then admire the architecture of Bradford City Hall, a popular filming location featured in The Duke and the TV series Virdee. Afterward, stroll around Little Germany, a historic area known for its beautiful Victorian buildings and filming locations for Downton AbbeyGentleman Jack, and Peaky Blinders.

VISIT CALDERDALE

Midday: Shibden Hall: Head directly to Shibden Hall to explore the historic house and gardens featured in Gentleman Jack. Learn about Anne Lister's fascinating life. You can easily get to Shibden Hall by taking a bus from Halifax Bus Station. The 548 and 549 bus services run frequently and will drop you off near Shibden Park. Feeling energetic? Then why not take the 25 minute walk uphill from Halifax train station? Or, for an extended walk which takes in Shibden Hall and the Shibden Valley via the old medieval route to the east, the ‘Magna Via’, then check out this scenic route from AA Walks.

Afternoon: Piece Hall: End your visit at the Piece Hall in Halifax. This stunning 18th-century cloth hall offers a unique atmosphere and has been featured in various films and TV shows, including Marvel's Secret Invasion.
