Poster with information about Bradford's Millennium Way walks.

About

In 2025, several walking groups will offer a series of 16 circular walks based on the Bradford Millennium Way, launched 25 years ago, as part of the Bradford 2025 programme.

What3words: ///sprint.colonies.downfield
Distance: 6.5 miles

Bingley Walkers are Welcome will lead a moderate 6.5-mile circular walk through the scenic Harden Valley, exploring its many wooded areas. The route will pass through Ruin Bank Woods, a hilly conifer plantation, the picturesque village of Rycroft, and the beautiful St. Ives Estate—just a short distance from Bingley, which is easily accessible by train and bus.

Difficulty: Moderate
What to Bring: Water, flask, snacks, and any necessary medication (including plasters). As many paths will be stony or muddy, sturdy walking shoes or boots with non-slip soles are recommended. Walking poles may also be helpful for those who usually use them.

Catering: No catering provided during the walk.

Public Transport: Bingley Railway Station is very close to Bingley Arts Centre. Bus routes Shuttle 662 and Aireline 60 also stop near the Arts Centre.
