Poster with information about the Bradford Millennium Way walks

About

In 2025, several walking groups will offer a series of 16 circular walks based on the Bradford Millennium Way, launched 25 years ago, as part of the Bradford 2025 programme.

9:30am: The walks programme will be launched at Bracken Hall Countryside Centre, Glen Road, Baildon, Shipley, BD17 5EA. Baildon Walkers are Welcome invite all to join them for a brief opening celebration of the 16 walks in the programme. Public transport is available to reach Bracken Hall, with Bus 656 from Bradford/Shipley terminating at the Lucy Hall Drive / Glen Road junction, just 200 yards from Bracken Hall.

10:00am: Baildon Walkers are Welcome will lead the first circular walk of the series—an 8-mile route looping through Bingley and back to Bracken Hall. This moderate difficulty walk is graded as a two-boot walk by the Countryside Team. Participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch. The walk is expected to return to Bracken Hall between 14:00 and 15:00.
